Carly Novoselsky, LPC, NCC (she/her) is a dynamic sober, queer femme who is fiercely passionate about the intersection of mental health, substance abuse, and the queer community. She recently graduated with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. With a background in the hospitality industry, Carly now runs Queer Sober Social (QSS), a sex-positive, open-minded group for anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community who is seeking authentic queer connections sans alcohol. QSS holds weekly virtual socials for its members and also has an active online community full of support. Carly is a co-host on the Queer Sober Social Podcast where she actively lifts queer voices and tells the stories that she so desperately needed to hear when first getting sober. In her free time, you can find Carly checking out all the restaurants Chicago has to offer as she’s a true foodie at heart.
